RIMA to access the international arena of applied research.
Our spin off company has had the honor of being called to participate to an international consortium, led by relevant research organizations, for the formulation of a project.
PRIMA is the Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area; it devises new R&I approaches to improve water availability and sustainable agriculture production in a region heavily distressed by climate change, urbanisation and population growth.
Among the goals of PRIMA, “to build research and innovation capacities and to develop knowledge and common innovative solutions for agro-food systems, to make them sustainable…”. These are coherent with the founding principles of Lo Scatol8 per la Sostenibilità srl, whose products, services and activities are oriented to provide solutions applicable to economic organizations who feels the urgency and the opportunity to change course.
19 Countries are committed to the initiative: Algeria, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Malta, Morocco, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey.
Complementary knowledges, will of cooperation and a solid planning have taken to a project that has recently been submitted to a call for proposal. And now…Fingers crossed!
