While the fourth stage of Scatol8® Tour 2015 was on in Torino, in Asti we were at the heart of the final events of the Master “MANAGEMENT AND CREATIVITY OF HERITAGE HILLS”: 13 brilliant candidates were presenting their thesis, in front of professors, authorities, sponsors and families.
Carlo Cerrato introduced the final debate, sketching a clear outline of the most important moments and actors that allow the design and the making of this unique Master.
Then, he gave floor to Marco Goria, President of Fondazione Goria, to Francesco Scalfari, Director of UNIASTISS, and to Davide Arri, vice mayor of the City of Asti.
They talked about the importance of the master, and other similar activities, to emphasize the cultural role of Asti and its university pole, as a strategic figure for the territory.
Sergio Conti described the work done to realize the vision of the Master and passed to the proclamation.
Afterwards, he introduced Riccardo Beltramo, named director of the second edition. He thanked the former and first director, the strategic partners and confirmed the willingness to continue their vision and to develop the knowledge of the Master at national and international level. He reminded the peculiarity of the figure of “Master of Territory”, a Humanist manager. A definition that could be misunderstood as an oxymoron, but able to open wide horizons, combining humanistic sensitiveness with a strict scientific approach.
